Given West Indies’ recent form struggles, India will go into the series as strong favourites.

In November 2025, India will take on South Africa, the defending champions of WTC 2023-25, in another two-match Test series at home. The first match is scheduled at Eden Gardens, Kolkata starting 14th November, and the second at Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati.
