Ben Stokes Seeks Draw But India Refuse On Day 5
India National Cricket Team players Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, and Washington Sundar’s exceptional performances ensured that the visitors avoided a defeat in the fourth Test.
Aforementioned players batted brilliantly and took India to 386/4 at the end of 138 overs. With 15 overs and one hour remaining, English skipper Ben Stokes made peace with the fact that the match would end in a draw.
Hence, Ben Stokes walked up to Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar to shake hands to call it a draw. However, the request was turned down by Ravindra Jadeja (89*) and Washington Sundar (80*) as the duo wanted to play more with hundreds in their sights.
As India refused to shake hands, Ben Stokes was left furious and, along with other English players, was seen having a go at the Indian all-rounders.
