Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are set to compete in a T20I tri-series in Sharjah from August 29 to September 7, 2025. This tournament serves as a crucial warm-up for the upcoming Asia Cup, scheduled to begin on September 9 in the UAE.
All 7 matches will be played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
This is a rare series between the UAE, Pakistan and Afghanistan. It will happen in August and September. Pakistan will play Afghanistan on 29th August. UAE will play Pakistan on 30th August.
After the first 6 matches, the top 2 teams will play the final on 7th September. Emirates Cricket said this series is a good opportunity for the teams to get ready for the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup.
The 1st match of the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup will be played on 9th September, just 2 days after this series.
